Another busy and fun-packed week flew by in Little Cypress! We have been listening to and re-telling the story of ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson. We set up a ‘tuff tray’ with a woodland theme and all the characters from the story, so we could re-enact this classic tale. What amazing language we heard and imaginations were in overdrive with the creating of campfires and bonfires!
We are also showing a great interest in patterns and counting in our mathematics. It has been fascinating for the adults to observe how the children create and continue patterns in their play.
We hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
