Today was the end of an Era! Six years ago the current year six class came across from their year one temporary classroom, on the Ecclesbourne playground, to look at the building site that was the Brigstock annexe. They donned hard hats and set to work having a ago at plastering some of the classroom walls (the builders made good after they left!). In September of that same year, they entered a mostly complete school and became the first Brigstock year two class. These children have been the heart and soul of the school for the last five years, we have had some children leave the class and been lucky enough to have some fantastic children join us along the way. It has been a privilege to watch and share in their journey through primary school. I am very proud of the young people we are now sending off to secondary school and excited to hear about their adventures in the future. All the staff and children at Brigstock wish them well. Miss Hall.
