This week the children in Willow class helped to plant out vegetables and fruit in the reception garden planters. The children have been learning all about what plants need to grow well and the different parts of a plant. The children enjoyed planting out strawberries, carrots, parsnips, tomatoes, red onions, mangetout, broad beans, butternut squash and a pumpkin. With some rainy weather on the way I’m sure that they will all be well watered into their new homes. We will keep you posted on how they are all getting on.
