The children in our reception classes observed the natural world to inspire their work for Pegasus Art Week. It all began with a nature walk to study the trees and wildlife in our school grounds. They made close observations and took photographs of trees which they used to make detailed sketches. Red class then chose the work of Henri Matisse to inspire a final piece of art work and Yellow class chose the artist Klint and his ‘The Tree of Life’. What art can you create at home inspired by nature?
