Friday is ‘Rainbow’ day and time for us to celebrate fantastic work and achievements! Many of our certificates were presented to children demonstrating excellent learning power, particularly for children stretching themselves to overcome challenges and becoming totally absorbed in their learning. We heard the year two teachers telling us all about children showing great persistence in order to solve maths problems and we were shown an informative and well-presented Tudor fact book. Children in Indigo class were rewarded for showing great resilience when having to return to home learning after such a short time back in school. Year one have been very busy creating models based on the Julia Donaldson story ‘Jack and the Flumflum Tree’ and we saw some amazing examples of their work. Their teachers also awarded certificates to children that had been working particularly hard to use their phonics when writing and for showing great kindness to others. In our reception classes, Rainbow Certificates celebrated excellent listening skills, improved confidence with sharing ideas, being a good friend and for progress in reading.
Well done to all of our ‘Rainbow’ children!
