Reception Topic this term is All about Minibeasts. We have been learning about the lifecycle of a butterfly. When our delivery of caterpillars arrived, we were so excited. We watched them spin a chrysalis and then out popped beautiful butterflies. We looked at their lovely patterns and talked about symmetry. We let them go out in to the wild so that they could explore the big wide world. We even saw them fly up into the trees. We miss you butterflies!
