Cypress Upper: We are resilient learners!

Well done to all at Cypress Upper for another great week of learning! We have continued to develop ourselves as independent learners and are taking the time to really notice the detail in things around us, tasks we are given and taking time to ensure we understand the finer details too!

We enjoyed celebrating our achievements and the achievements of others during our Rainbow assembly. We danced away to ‘Celebration’ by Kool and the Gang, whilst cheering each other on. It was a fantastic way to finish the week. Well done to all who were awarded a Rainbow certificate (see below). Your certificate will arrive in the post early next week!

This week’s Rainbow certificate winners are: Cherida (Holly), Sam (Cedar), Gus (Birch), Lime (Jimmy), Jasmina (Lime), Hawthorn (Nikolai), Kieran (Rowan), Luiza (Hazel), Archie (Willow), Florence (Sycamore), Owen (Beech), Zariya (Oak), Eleanor (Larch).

We all know that we need to strike a balance regarding the amount of screen time the children (and adults) are being exposed to and Pegasus are delighted to announce that next week, beginning Monday, 25th January, will be Health and Fitness Week across the whole Trust.  Children in all year groups will have their Google Meets at 9.30am next week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to allow all children to join the live Joe Wicks workouts at 9.00am on those days. All information will be posted on the blogs in the mornings as usual.

The workouts are streamed live on Joe Wicks’ YouTube channel.

For parents with children in our Critical Worker Provision – please try to ensure your child/ren arrive at 9am so that they can enjoy the workout. Please wear your trainers on these days, as you will be getting active!

Have a great weekend!
