Whitehorse Manor Junior School

At Whitehorse Manor, we believe that children achieve best when there is a partnership between home and school.

We will do everything we can to foster this. We value the fact that the children and staff at this school come from very varied backgrounds and from different countries around the world.

Our community is made up of different races and religions and many staff and children speak languages other than English. We think this makes us a privileged community.

We pride ourselves in the fact that our curriculum is designed for the children in our community. We know that during the time children spend with us they will progress both academically and personally and we plan for both these types of development.  Children at our school learn to do things 'The Whitehorse way'.

We place particular emphasis on the basic skills of literacy and numeracy and have excellent provision for sport and music. We have a unique thematic approach to other subjects in the curriculum and offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

If your child has special educational needs, please see our SEN School Information Report (accessed via a link on the home page).

We look forward to welcoming you personally.
