Everyday this week, the children at Beulah have been preparing large wooden planters for the planting of our “Edible Garden”. They have dug out the weeds, removed stones and added nutrient rich soil to create a fresh, tidy bed for our rainbow of plants. Harrisons, our school caterers, have provided the school with a variety of vibrant vegetable plants to grow. We have planted orange carrots, bright red tomatoes, scarlet beetroot, emerald green courgettes, purple cabbage, creamy white cauliflowers and a whole host of other, healthy vegetables. We can’t wait for them to grow so that we can eat a rainbow!
