A Day at The Museum

Today was the day when we open our doors and welcome parents to the Whitehorse Manor Junior School Museum, a fantastic opportunity for parents to come into school and see what is happening with our Thematic Curriculum. There was mosaic making with the Romans in Year 4; some very strict Victorians teaching gym; plenty of smoked fish and honey (not at the same time!) to be enjoyed with the Vikings and a plethora of temples to visit with the ancient Greeks. The homework on display was excellent and the children looked the part in a variety of costumes. The children got the opportunity to visit throughout the day and we thank you all for visiting, despite the terrible weather. #WHJUN
