Cypress Cycling | April 28th 10am @ South Norwood Lakes | All AbilitiesIf you’ve eaten as much chocolate as we have, you’ll be feeling the need to stretch those legs next weekend. We’ve got something for everyone at South Norwood Lakes – beginner skills in the park for our less experienced riders, and for the older ones a trip along our usual quiet back-street route to the Country Park to see the fantastic Spring scenery there – incredible to think that, 30 years ago, it was little more than an abandoned sewage works. Join us at 10am by the ice cream kiosk – keep an eye on the weather forecast and bring appropriate layers etc. – next weekend looking a tad unpredictable so far. Grown ups – you will need to bring your own bike if you’re going with the older ones to the Country Park; all kids must have a responsible adult with them. Bring snacks and drinks especially if you’re going to the Country Park – there’s no cafe there. Save 10% on kids & adults bikes with Cypress CC – just mention us when you shop at Blue Door If your kids are outgrowing their current bike or you fancy something new and shiny for yourself, we’re running an offer with Blue Door who offer excellent Raleigh, Dawes, Squish, Tern and Koga bikes amongst others – including electrics to take the sting out of the hills. Just pop in to the shop and mention us at the checkout, and you’ll get 10% off. Bike Buddy Ride2Work This one’s for the grown-ups – we’ve had a few people asking about routes in towards Zone 1 for riding to work; it’s always nice to have someone show you some of the quieter routes & short cuts as they aren’t always obvious and pick up some tips on commuting the BEST way. Drop us an email or speak to one of the organisers if you’d like to find out more. |
